FUNDING ALMANAC
Coverage & freshness
Broad discovery, partial coverage
The October 25, 2026 live catalogue contains 4,611 searchable source-listed records, 130 reviewed opportunities (128 financial and two commercial routes), and five separate reviewed services. The release added 80 records and enriched four existing records while preserving prior evidence and history.
Records include programmes, streams, financing products and delivery routes that can overlap. These are not counts of distinct currently available grants. The 1,616 unverified July 2025 discovery records remain a separate historical catalogue; retained original evidence does not establish current availability. There are 64 identity mappings and 43 partial preparation paths.
Completed research includes the eight major bank inventories, major utility inventories and bounded federal housing/infrastructure, transport, natural resources, export and agricultural-financing inventories. Linked delivery coverage, new calls, provincial directories and corporate/nonprofit funders remain uneven. A completed sweep is dated coverage, not a guarantee that no opportunity is missing.
Evidence and status
Source-listed means the opportunity appears on an official or legitimate administrator source; eligibility, amounts, intake and other missing details remain Unknown. Reviewed means specified claims received a dated, bounded review, not that every rule or current availability was verified.
Loans must be repaid; guarantees are not cash grants. Partner-controlled funds, services and customer contracts are distinguished from money paid directly to a business. Supplier eligibility is not inferred from a nonprofit receiving funding.
Closed calls remain searchable and labelled Closed. Unknown intake stays Unknown; an application link does not prove funds remain. Source dates, historical evidence, conflicts and material contributions must be checked before acting.
Limited observation pilot
Four of sixteen pilot sources are enabled for scheduled observation. This is not catalogue-wide maintenance. Observations preserve prior evidence and propose changes for review; they do not automatically rewrite programme rules. The other pilot sources and the wider source registry are inactive. No continuous alerts, daily catalogue freshness or complete monitoring is promised.
Preparation limits
Business facts and Unknown answers can guide research before a checklist is complete. Activity selections do not establish eligibility. General preparation starts with screening; a full preliminary brief is available on explicit request. None of the 43 partial paths establishes readiness to submit. Answers may be lengthy, and secondary mentions may omit individual intake labels, including a recorded Starter Company Plus example. Check the underlying source-listed or reviewed record.
